How to Make?

  1. Take a cup of melted coconut oil and add wax to it. You can use grated candles for obtaining wax.
  2. Add 1-2 cubes of camphor in the wax and coconut oil melt. Also, add 2-3 drops of lavender essential. This will make your feet heal faster than usual.
  3. Keep the mixture in a clean container and allow it to solidify.

How to Apply?

Apply the home-prepared cream overnight continuously for 3 weeks.

You can notice the best results after the application of this homemade foot cream on a regular basis.

2. Coconut oil, wax, aloe vera, and vitamin E

How to make?

  1. Take equal quantities of mustard oil and coconut in a bowl.
  2. Add paraffin wax to it. Paraffin wax can be obtained by melting candles. Make sure the wax is lesser in quantity than the oil, otherwise the final cream will be not suitable for usage because it will be harder than normal.
  3. Add aloe vera pulp to the mixture, as aloe vera has healing properties and makes skin soft.
  4. You can also add 2-3 Evion vitamin E tablets for better results, as these tablets are subsequent sources of vitamins that can repair damaged parts of your skin.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool at a lower temperature.

How to Apply?

After the mixture solidifies, you can use it daily at night. It is one of the best remedies to heal cracked heels.

3. A solution made up of Listerine and vinegar

Listerine contains alcohol which helps to fight stubborn germs in the feet. Vinegar on the other hand helps to get rid of dry skin and dead skin cells due to its mild acidity.

How to Apply?

  • Firstly rub your feet well with a pumice stone that helps to remove dirt and scrape off the dry scaly skin.
  • Then dip your feet in the Listerine and vinegar solution to see the results.

4. Rice flour, honey, and apple cider vinegar

Rice flour is an excellent exfoliating agent, effective in treating dry and dead skin cells. Honey helps in moisturizing the feet, making the skin soft and reducing the hard layer of the outer skin of the feel.

You can make a scrub of:

  • 3 tablespoons of rice flour
  • 2 tablespoons of honey, and
  • 2-3 drops of vinegar.

5. Bananas, honey, and Vicks Vaporub

How to Make?

  1. Mash the bananas in a thick paste.
  2. Add honey to it. Honey is a natural moisturizer keeping skin hydrated and drawing water to the outer layers of the skin.

How to Apply?

You can add the paste to your feet and keep them until the paste is dried. Now wash it off. Perform the practice once a week to get desired results.

Alternatively, you can use only honey by adding honey in lukewarm water and soaking your feet in the water for 20 minutes or so. After that rub your feet with a pumice stone in order to exfoliate dead skin cells.

Towel dry your feet after washing off with water thoroughly. Apply Vicks Vaporub to your cracked heels.

Vicks Vapourub has eucalyptus and mint oil which provides a cooling effect to the feet and helps in nurturing the feet.

6. Vegetable oil

  • Towel dry them.
  • Apply the vegetable oil on your heels and toes overnight and cover your feet with socks so that the oil does not get removed from your feet.

7. Vaseline petroleum jelly, aloe vera gel, and glycerine

  2. Towel dry the feet.
  3. Apply a cream made of vaseline petroleum jelly, aloe vera gel.
  4. Add 2-4 drops of glycerine according to your skin.

You can observe the results within 2 weeks if you apply the cream daily before going to bed.
